The Sixth Session of the Intergovernmental Forum on Chemical Safety (IFCS) will be hosted by the government of Senegal. The session will consider: the future of the IFCS; nanotechnology and nanomaterials; substitution and alternatives; the need for international action on lead and cadmium; and ecologically sound and integrated pest and vector management. Preparatory meetings will take place prior to the session, on 13-14 September.
