March 2010: The Energy Technology Systems Analysis Programme (ETSAP), an implementing agreement of the International Energy Agency (IEA), and in cooperation with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), has posted presentations and other resources from its 18-23 January 2010 workshop, which took place in New Delhi, India.

The workshop addressed a number of energy and climate change issues. It opened with presentations on ETSAP’s recent achievements and developments in modeling the effects of energy policies and energy use in various scenarios. Participants then gathered thematically in eight sessions, with four presentations available from each section. Session themes included: climate change and mitigation; energy security and co-benefits; new emerging technologies and long term energy models; sustainable cities and habitats- integrating local level concerns in planning; and energy planning, policies, tools and frameworks.
