Conference on Corporate Water Stewardship and the Post-2015 Development Agenda: Drawing from the India Experience

This conference will examine three topics discussed as part of global thematic consultation on water: water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); water resources management; and wastewater management and water quality. The conference, which is organized by the UN Global Compact and the Pacific Institute, will also explore how the private sector and other groups can advance effective and equitable solutions to water challenges around the world within the context of the post-2015 agenda. The conference will also address water-related challenges in India and showcase the actions that corporations in India and elsewhere are taking to support sustainable water management and mitigate water risk. The conference will be followed by a two-day Mumbai collective action working session.
