This electronic conference focuses on conservation and sustainable use of plant genetic resources. Issue areas for discussion include: an integrated approach to in situ and ex situ conservation; landrace conservation and use; and utilization and policy for neglected and underutilized crops. The online conference is being held under through the DIVERSEEDS scientific project, which aims to facilitate networking on conservation and the use of plant genetic resources in Europe and Asia, and receives funding support from the European Commission.
