Third Meeting of Signatories – Aquatic Warbler MoU

The Aquatic Warbler Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was concluded in Minsk, Belarus, under the auspices of the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) and became effective on 30 April 2003. It aims to safeguard the Aquatic Warbler (Acrocephalus paludicola), which is the rarest migratory songbird of Europe, and the only globally threatened passerine bird found in mainland Europe. The third meeting of the Signatories of the MoU Concerning Conservation Measures for the Aquatic Warbler will take place from 20-21 May in Ventė, Lithuania.
