The Ramsar Secretariat has issued a call for comments on the Draft Strategic Action Plan on culture and wetlands 2012-2016, which sets out a vision and some specifics of a revitalized programme of initiatives, partnership collaborations and strengthened coordination following the 11th meeting of the Conference of the Contracting Parties (COP 11).
6 June 2012: The Secretariat of the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance (Ramsar Convention) has issued a call for comments on the Draft Strategic Action Plan on culture and wetlands 2012-2016.
The draft has been prepared on behalf of the Culture Working Group. It sets out a vision and some specifics of a revitalized programme of initiatives, partnership collaborations and strengthened coordination, following the 11th meeting of the Conference of the Contracting Parties (COP 11), which will take place in Bucharest, Romania, from 6-13 July 2012.
