The workshops addressed: reaffirming the role of biodiversity in achieving the Millennium Development Goals; financing biodiversity action for achieving the 2010 targets; measuring progress towards the 2010 targets; thinking global and acting local – taking 2010 forward; and verifying biodiversity trade: 2010 challenges.
