The “Working Conference Women for Water” aims to provide practical solutions for problems encountered by women and yield ideas for up-scaling and reproducing successful approaches. It will also provide an opportunity for various partners in the development process—including women’s groups, potential donors, NGOs, and the private sector— to share information on how to achieve success with small-scale projects. The conference will also pay attention to current themes such as microfinance (2005 is the International Year of Microcredit).
