The seventeenth Meeting of States Parties to the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea will be held at UN headquarters on 14 June and from 18 to 22 June 2007. Agenda items include the appointment of the Credentials Committee and that Committee’s report, the election of the members of the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf, the report of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea to the Meeting of States Parties for 2006, information reported by the Secretary-General of the International Seabed Authority, information from the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf, and the report of the External Auditors for the financial budgetary matters of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea for the financial period 2006-2007.
