This informal consultation of the States parties to the UN Agreement for the Implementation of the Provisions of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea relating to the Conservation and Management of Straddling Fish Stocks and Highly Migratory Fish Stocks (the Agreement) will meet from 10 to 14 March 2008. Participants will discuss the implementation of the Agreement at the regional, subregional and global levels, taking into consideration the outcome of the Review Conference as regards proposed means of strengthening the implementation of the Agreement, promoting wider participation in the Agreement, and making recommendations to be considered by the General Assembly.
