The 12th Session of the Regional Coordination Mechanism of UN Agencies and Organizations Working in Africa in Support of the African Union and its NEPAD Programme (RCM-Africa) is meeting under General Assembly resolution 57/7, which calls upon UN system organizations to align their activities with the priorities of NEPAD and organize them around thematic clusters. Delegates are expected to address: the Draft Work Programme for the Implementation of the Ten-Year Capacity Building Programme for the AU; Progress Progress Reports on the Rio+20 Earth Summit and the Sub-Regional Coordination Mechanisms; and an update on the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Africa Working Group.
