UNWTO RECOGNIZES LEADERS MEETING FUTURE CHALLENGES

Focusing on “Education and Knowledge Management: Meeting Future Challenges,” the conference included an emphasis on sustainable development and environmental education, with “Education in Tourism-related Climate Change” as one of two major themes. At the conference, the UNWTO Ulysses Prize and Ulysses Awards were conferred, including on the Eurochile Business Foundation, which won the First Prize for Innovation in Non-Governmental Organization for its achievements as a Sustainable Management Model for Tourism Destinations.
