UNFCCC18 April 2013: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a miscellaneous document containing submissions by two research programmes and organizations active in climate change research.

The submissions, presented by the Global Change System for Analysis, Research and Training, and the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research, were made upon an invitation by the 37th session of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA 37) to provide information on the technical and scientific aspects of emissions by sources, removals by sinks and reservoirs of all greenhouse gases (GHG), including emissions and removals from terrestrial ecosystems such as steppe, savannah, tundra and peatlands, to identify and quantify human activities’ impact.

The information submitted is to be considered during SBSTA 38 as a theme for the next research dialogue. [Publication: Submissions on Developments in Research Activities Relevant to the Convention]
