UNFCCC Publishes GEF’s Progress Report on Poznan Programme on Technology Transfer

The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the Global Environment Facility (GEF) report on progress made in carrying out the Poznan strategic programme on technology transfer (FCCC/SBI/2013/5).

GEF UNFCCC26 April 2013: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the Global Environment Facility (GEF) report on progress made in carrying out the Poznan strategic programme on technology transfer (FCCC/SBI/2013/5).

The report includes information on the progress made under the different funding windows of the Poznan Programme, including on technology transfer pilot projects, technology needs assessments (TNA) performed in the context of the TNA project carried out in 36 countries, long-term implementation of the Poznan Strategic Programme, and dissemination of GEF experiences and successfully-demonstrated environmentally sound technologies.

In addition, the report contains an annex with specific information on implementation progress of technology transfer pilot projects under the Poznan strategic programme. The report is presented further to an invitation by the 34th session of the Subsidiary for Implementation (SBI 34) to the GEF to provide progress reports on the implementation of the activities receiving support under the Poznan strategic programme.
