UNFCCC Publishes Addendum to Cancun COP/MOP Agenda

The Addendum to the Cancun COP/MOP 6 agenda includes additional information on arrangements for the sessions.

22 November 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published an addendum (FCCC/CP/2010/1/Add.1−FCCC/KP/CMP/2010/1/Add.1) to the provisional agenda for the sixth session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP 6).

The addendum concerns additional information on the arrangements for the sessions and the scheduling of the meeting of the UNFCCC bodies, which will convene in Cancun, Mexico, from 29 November-10 December 2010. A welcoming ceremony will be held on the morning of 29 November 2010, to mark the opening of the Conference. The opening plenaries of the 16th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 16) to the UNFCCC and COP/MOP 6 will take place immediately thereafter. The Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) will open their 33rd sessions on the morning of 30 November 2010.
