The theme of the course is environmental governance, and it will focus on past and future negotiations of multilateral environmental agreements (MEAs). It will also provide a forum to foster North-South cooperation and to take stock of recent developments in negotiations as well as in implementation of MEAs and diplomatic practices in the international environmental arena. The course will take place from 28 June-10 July 2009, in Nairobi, Kenya. The application deadline is 8 May 2009. [Course website]
