The Secretariat of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) has opened the voting to select the 'People's Choice Award' for the third UNCCD photo contest.
August 2013: The Secretariat of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) has opened the voting to select the ‘People’s Choice Award’ for the third UNCCD photo contest.
Twenty-four finalist photos have been selected by a jury of seven judges. Winning pictures, including those receiving special mention, will be displayed at the 11th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 11), which is to be held from 16-27 September 2013 in Windhoek, Namibia.
