13 December 2010: The Secretariat of the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance (Ramsar Convention) reported that the Government of Thailand has designated Kut Ting Marshland as its 11th Wetland of International Importance.

Kut Ting Marshland is located in Buengkan District, Nongkhai Province, and features many wetland types and habitats with a diverse array of species. [Ramsar Press Release]
