SPC, University of the South Pacific Strengthen Collaboration

Under the Memorandum of Understanding, joint programmes are expected in the following sectors: information and communication technologies (ICT); renewable energy and energy efficiency; climate change and climate-related disaster risk reduction (DRR); management of marine and coastal resources; environmental waste and water pollution; arts and culture; education; and development, governance and leadership.

18 October 2011: The Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) and the University of the South Pacific (USP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) committing the organizations to increased collaboration to enhance delivery of services to their mutual members: Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, the Marshall Islands, Nauru, Niue, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
