The Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) took place from 23-27 June 2008 and brought together experts to discuss issues related to the world’s water resources.

During the event, Singapore signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the United Arab Emirates and one with Bahrain to collaborate on environmental issues, in particular on water management.
