The theme of the poster session for the 16th meeting of the CBD Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA) will be "Oceans, Coasts, Islands: Achieving the Aichi Biodiversity Targets." The CBD invites posters showcasing how the Aichi Biodiversity Targets are being achieved in oceans, coasts and islands.
1 February 2012: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has announced that the theme of the poster session for the 16th meeting of the CBD Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA) is “Oceans, Coasts, Islands: Achieving the Aichi Biodiversity Targets.”
Governments, organizations, indigenous and local communities and stakeholders are invited to contribute posters by 29 February 2012, and extended abstracts by 26 March 2012, both showcasing how the Aichi Biodiversity Targets are being achieved in oceans, coasts and islands.
SBSTTA 16 will take place from 30 April-5 May 2012. [CBD Notification]
