Peru Deposits Acceptance of the Amendment to Annex B to the Kyoto Protocol

At the second session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP 2), held in Nairobi, Kenya, in November 2006, the parties adopted an amendment to Annex B to the Protocol by decision 10/CMP.2.

Peru's acceptance of the amendment brings the total number of States and regional economic integration organizations that have deposited instruments of acceptance to 27.

25 January 2012: The UNFCCC Secretariat has reported that the Government of Peru has deposited its instrument of acceptance of the amendment to Annex B to the Kyoto Protocol.

Peru’s acceptance of the amendment brings the total number of States and regional economic integration organizations that have deposited instruments of acceptance to 27.
