March 2009: Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA) is organizing the second East Asian Seas (EAS) Youth Forum, which will take place from 22-26 November 2009, in Manila, the Philippines, as one of the major side events of the EAS Congress 2009.

The Forum aims to: provide a venue for young people in the region to learn more about pressing marine and coastal concerns, including climate change; and strengthen the role of the youth in addressing these issues by providing them with some practical skills they can apply nationally.
