9 August 2011: Natural Resources Forum, a UN Sustainable Development Journal, has called for papers for an upcoming special issue taking stock of advances in the development of long-term sustainable development scenarios.

The UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20) will be an opportunity to reflect on such progress, the Journal notes, as recent efforts have sought to extent models and scenario exercises beyond individual sectors (climate change, energy, land, water) and simultaneously consider economic, social and environmental objectives. Paper are sought on topics related to this theme.

The deadline for submission is 15 November 2011, and the special issue will be published in 2012. [Call for Papers]
