It will include sessions of the Annual Ministerial Review and the Development Cooperation Forum.
23 March 2012: The NGO Branch of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) has announced an open call for written and oral statements for the 2012 High Level Segment of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
The 2012 ECOSOC High-Level Segment will be held from 2-9 July 2012, at UN Headquarters in New York, US, and will include sessions of the Annual Ministerial Review and the Development Cooperation Forum. The theme for the Annual Ministerial Review segment is “Promoting productive capacity, employment and decent work to eradicate poverty in the context of inclusive, sustainable and equitable economic growth at all levels for achieving the MDGs.” The deadline for submissions is 6 April 2012, and the call is open to organizations in consultative status with ECOSOC.
