IEA Partners with RAP on a New Work Programme on Energy Efficiency and Energy Providers

Organized by the IEA together with its working partner, the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP), the workshop was organized as part of the Policies for Energy Provider Delivery of Energy Efficiency (PEPDEE) initiative, and saw participants discuss issues ranging from energy efficiency resource standards in the US; energy provider-delivered energy efficiency programmes; specifically on energy efficiency obligations and their outcomes; and energy provider/certificate creator experiences under existing schemes.

IEAJanuary 2012: The International Energy Agency (IEA) has published the documentation for its workshop, “Energy Provider Delivery of Energy Efficiency Australian Workshop.”

Organized by the IEA together with its working partner, the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP), the workshop was organized as part of the Policies for Energy Provider Delivery of Energy Efficiency (PEPDEE) initiative, and saw participants discuss issues ranging from energy efficiency resource standards in the US; energy provider-delivered energy efficiency programmes; specifically on energy efficiency obligations and their outcomes; and energy provider/certificate creator experiences under existing schemes. The workshop was one of several regional policy dialogues to be held as part of the PEPDEE effort. Other policy dialogues, hosted by governments and co-sponsored by regulators and energy provider associations, will be held in the EU, China, and North America.
