CONSULTATIONS ON SYSTEM-WIDE COHERENCE CONTINUE

Member States met at UN Headquarters, New York, US, from 20-22 June 2007, to continue informal consultations on the recommendations contained in the report of the High-level Panel on System-wide Coherence, focusing the discussion on the cluster areas: Humanitarian issues and recovery; Gender; Governance and Institutional Reform; and Business Practices.

Delegates were also briefed on the status of the One UN pilots in Tanzania, Albania and Rwanda. The cluster areas Human Rights and Funding will be addressed in the near future.
