CBD Secretariat Reviewing GBO-3 Production Process

The review, initiated by the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) with financial support from the Government of Japan, seeks to improve the preparation and production of future editions of the Global Biodiversity Outlook (GBO).

To this end, governments and others are invited to complete a brief survey on the third edition (GBO-3), which was launched in May 2010.

7 June 2011: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) initiated a review of the production of the third edition of the Global Biodiversity Outlook (GBO-3), which was launched in May 2010, in order to further improve the process for future editions and maintain comparability.

The review was initiated with financial support from the Government of Japan. Governments, relevant organizations and stakeholders are invited to participate in a brief survey as part of the review.
