June 2011: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has launched Phase 1 of the Global Platform for Business and Biodiversity Website.
The new version of the website allows users to search for globally-available tools and mechanisms that can help businesses to mainstream biodiversity issues. A selection of business case studies also is available.
Phase 2, including new and enhanced features, is scheduled to launch in October-November 2011. The CBD Secretariat welcomes suggestions and submission of tools, mechanisms and business case studies for incorporation in the website, at business@cbd.int.
