The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is calling for public inputs on the need for, and possible development of, additional mechanisms to enable CBD Parties to meet their commitments under the Convention and the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020.
Submissions are invited before 1 June 2012.
26 March 2012: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has invited parties, international organizations, indigenous and local communities and relevant stakeholders to submit views on the need for, and possible development of, additional mechanisms to enable CBD parties to meet their commitments under the Convention and the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020.
Submissions are invited before 1 June 2012, to be compiled by the Secretariat for consideration by the Conference of the Parties (COP) at its 11th meeting, to be held in October 2012, in Hyderabad, India. [CBD Notification]
