The CBD Secretariat has circulated its Monthly Bulletin of Activities, highlighting the outcomes of CBD COP 10 and COP-MOP 5, the GEF Council meeting, and the Cairo workshop on biodiversity and finance.
23 December 2010: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has circulated its Monthly Bulletin of Activities for November 2010.
The Bulletin includes, inter alia, reports from the CBD Executive Secretary’s briefing to the Second Committee of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) regarding the outcomes of the 10th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 10) to the CBD and the fifth Meeting of the Parties (COP-MOP 5) to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety; the 39th Meeting of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Council; and the Cairo workshop on biodiversity and finance.
