The Bulletin includes, inter alia, reports on: the first meeting of the Bureaux of the fifth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (COP/MOP 5) and of the tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the CBD (COP 10); CBD Secretariat participation in the Cancun Climate Change Conference, including organization of the Rio Conventions’ Ecosystems and Climate Change Pavilion; the partnership agreement establishment between the CBD Secretariat and BirdLife International; and the closing of the International Year of Biodiversity.
