The Monthly Bulletin of Activities for January 2011 includes reports on meetings to prepare for COP 11 and COP-MOP 5 and a workshop on the Biosafety Clearing-House.
11 February 2011: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has circulated its Monthly Bulletin of Activities for January 2011.
The Bulletin includes, inter alia, reports on: the first meeting on the Implementation of the Plan of Action on Sub-National Governments, Cities and Other Local Authorities on Biodiversity, held from 17-19 January 2011, in Montpellier, France; meetings in India in preparation for the 11th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 11) to the CBD and the sixth meeting of the COP acting as the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (COP-MOP 6); and a joint workshop of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and Global Environment Facility (GEF) on the Biosafety Clearing-House (BCH).
