26 November 2010: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has circulated its Monthly Bulletin of Activities for September 2010.

Among others, the Bulletin includes reports on: the high-level meeting on biodiversity held in the framework of the UN General Assembly on 22 September; the ministerial forum of Presidents of the CBD Conference of the Parties, convened on 3 September in Geneva, Switzerland; the Pan-African High-level Conference on Biodiversity, held from 13-17 September in Libreville, Gabon; the meeting of the inter-regional negotiating group on access and benefit-sharing held from 18-21 September in Montreal, Canada; the 10th meeting of the Joint Liaison Group of the Rio Conventions, convened on 23 September in New York; and the seventh meeting of the Compliance Committee under the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety.
