CBD SBSTTA Documentation Available for Peer Review

The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has made available for peer review the draft documentation to be considered by the seventeenth meeting of the CBD Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA 17), to be held from 14-18 October 2013, in Montreal, Canada.

CBD27 June 2013: The Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has made available for peer review the draft documentation to be considered by the seventeenth meeting of the CBD Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA 17), to be held from 14-18 October 2013, in Montreal, Canada.

The draft documents address implementation of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 and its Aichi targets through scientific and technical means; identification of scientific and technical needs for the attainment of the Aichi targets; as well as the CBD contribution to the intersessional process of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES). Any suggested changes and comments should be submitted to the CBD Secretariat by 15 July 2013.
