CBD Publishes Sixth Issue of Newsletter for Civil Society

The sixth issue of the Convention on Biological Diversity's (CBD) newsletter for civil society, [square brackets], features an interview with CBD Executive Secretary Braulio Dias, civil society views on market-based mechanisms for biodiversity conservation, the contribution of zoos and aquariums to achieving the Aichi targets; bioenergy; social and cultural criteria for EBSAs; marine biodiversity in areas beyond national jurisdiction; and green economy.

May 2012: The sixth issue of the Convention on Biological Diversity’s (CBD) newsletter for civil society, [square brackets], has been made available online. The newsletter includes an interview with CBD Executive Secretary Braulio Dias reflecting his focus on implementation, and civil society views on market-based mechanisms for biodiversity conservation.
