The International Maritime Organization’s Sub-Committee on Bulk Liquids and Gases (BLG) held its 12th session from 4-8 February 2008, in London, UK.

The Committee agreed on a draft revised Annex VI on the prevention of air pollution from ships to the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) and amendments to the NOx Technical Code. These will be submitted to the Marine Environment Protection Committee, which is scheduled to hold its 57th session from 31 March to 4 April 2008 in London, UK.
