6 August 2012: As a prelude to the upcoming 18th Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) University (AU 18), themed “Conscious Consumers for Environmental Sustainability,” ASEF has opened an online photo exhibition reflecting views on sustainable consumption. The exhibition aims to inform consumers about sustainable practices in the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) region.

The exhibition is hosted as a gallery on Facebook, and features photos from44 international students and young professionals. The public is invited to vote for the picture that depicts sustainable consumption in the most striking way by clicking the “Like” button, by 19 August 2012. The picture with the most number of “likes” will be featured on ASEF’s website.
