The 18th Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) University (AU 18), themed “Conscious Consumers for Environmental Sustainability,” will take place from 18 August to 1 September 2012, in Tartu, Estonia. The programme offers opportunities for selected students, young professionals, artists and educators from Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) countries to engage in dialogue on environmentally sustainable consumption. One week of lectures and interactive workshops will be followed by a week-long volunteering awareness campaign. Presentations will be given by academics and experts from universities, research institutes, governments and international organisations from Asia and Europe.
