The African Water Facility is an initiative led by the African Ministers’ Council on Water (AMCOW) to mobilize financial resources for water resources development in Africa.

On 21-22 September 2006, the Facility organized a regional consultative meeting in Tunis, Tunisia, with the cooperation of the African Development Bank to share experiences and build partnership to support African countries in water sector monitoring and evaluation.
