28 October 2011: The Adaptation Fund has posted a video of a project that combats coastal erosion in Senegal.

The communities highlighted in the film rely on tourism and fishing, which have been negatively affected by coastal erosion and sea level rise. The project, funded by the Adaptation Fund, will build a coastal wall, nourish beaches, construct infrastructure to protect the second largest fishing harbor in Senegal, and protect freshwater from intrusion of salt.
