2012 will be the first year that the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) annual conference and the bi-annual World Renewable Energy Congress (WREC) will be combined as The World Renewable Energy Forum. The forum will bring participants together under the banner “EmPowering the World with Renewable Energy.” Participants will seek to look at how renewable energy technologies can address the environmental and energy crisis from an international perspective as well as integrate renewables into the world’s energy infrastructure.
