This workshop, organized by the UNEP-Dams and Development Project (DDP) and co-sponsored by the British Dams Society and WWF, aims to identify ways of minimizing risk related to the financing of dams and their alternatives and achieving more sustainable projects. Risks to be addressed include financial and investment risk, and risks to reputation, livelihoods and the environment.
