This third meeting will build on the previous meetings of the country-led initiative (CLI). It aims to develop a concrete proposal, including on a way forward to achieve the objectives of the Ban amendment, for consideration of the Parties to the Basel Convention at COP 10 in Colombia. The documents developed at the second meeting and the draft list of elements will provide the basis for deliberations at the third meeting.
