Following the adoption of the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) in February 2006, the regional meetings called for in the SAICM Overarching Policy Strategy by the International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM) in its resolution I/1 are key elements in the collective efforts to commence implementation of SAICM. The third EU-JUSSCANNZ meeting will be preceded by a SAICM donors meeting on 11 February 2008.
