As part of the SAICM Regional meetings preparation, the African Regional Meeting on SAICM will be held in Cairo, Egypt, from 11-14 September 2006. Other regional meetings are being planned for Central and Eastern Europe in Riga, Latvia, Asia- Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand, and the EU-JUSSCANNZ in Barcelona, Spain.
