The ASIC-STAFO is a forum for disseminating information pertaining to the fields of aquaculture, fisheries and oceanography of the Arabian Seas. The main objectives of the conference are to: forge new links among regional and international oceanographers, fishery biologists, marine scientists and aquaculturists; and strengthen existing links between researchers involved in all aspects of aquaculture, fisheries, oceanography, marine ecology, taxonomy, and conservation science.
