This meeting aims to: discuss key global challenges related to climate change and its relationship with the on-going and future work of the Regional Seas Programmes; discuss the operational approach to ecosystem management for the Regional Seas Programmes; highlight potential financing mechanisms and legal instruments for the Regional Seas Programmes; define further cooperation with the Multilateral Environmental Agreements; and learn about operational inputs of the Regional Seas Programmes.
