On the occasion of its 20th anniversary celebration, the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) will hold a conference to discuss the impacts of research, forest laws and policy development in Central Africa since the 1992 Rio Earth Summit. In doing so, the conference will identify remaining gaps in research and policy and consider obstacles to the implementation of REDD+, forest financing, food security and forest certification.
