The Global Ocean Forum will organize Oceans Day at Rio+20 in the Rio Conventions Pavilion parallel to the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20). The Rio Pavilion is a collaborative effort among the Secretariats of the UNFCCC, UNCCD, CBD and the GEF. This event is expected to produce a Rio Ocean Declaration, with recommendations for advancing the sustainable development of the oceans, coasts and SIDS.
